For this studio, I developed a design proposal for a new community pleasure garden in Melbourne's suburbs named as Hanging Gardens.
The purpose of my pleasure garden is to introduce nature into the community and to create a more positive impact towards the community's well-being. The pleasure garden brings in opportunities such as events, cafes and exhibitions for people to gather and socialise.
Isometric of Hanging Gardens (playful terrain throughout the site, air and water filters are installed around the site)

The pleasure garden is split into different zones. The terrain is split by three water bodies and are arranged in a way that visitors will have to navigate through the terrain to reach the different programmes inside the garden.
By experimenting with theories of group form and field conditions, I created a figure ground drawing which illustrates the overall arrangement and organisation of the pleasure garden. Usage of colour & text graphics allow me to represent the garden's programmes and highlight circulation spaces.

Each module consists of several layers that filter air and water for the community. The top section of the module filters air, the middle section filters water and the bottom section purifies the water. These filter modules are placed along the terrain.

Comic strips illustrates how the pleasure garden changes over time and how it adapts to the surrounding environment.
